[Photo] Bong Joon-ho’s “Parasite” ups “Snowpiercer” in US box office sales

Box office sales for Bong Joon-ho’s “Parasite” have already surpassed those of his former film “Snowpiercer,” having raked in around US$5.7 million as of Nov. 1, according to CJ ENM. This is remarkable, considering “Parasite” was released in the US as recently as Oct. 18. The New York Times’ has called it the “film of the year,” and the film has been given a 99% percent rating by the site Rotten Tomatoes. The number of theaters screening the film has since been expanded from 33 to 463.
