The Han River bridge, which was built 100 years ago and was the first bridge to link the northern and southern areas of Seoul, was originally built for pedestrians. However, as the years have passed, car traffic has increased, making it difficult to celebrate the bridge’s history. A citizens group has proposed converting one of the existing bridges into a pedestrian zone that could feature exhibitions, performances, and celebrate the structure’s history.
