[Photo] Trump shakes hands with lawmakers following speech

US President Donald Trump received mixed reactions following his speech to the National Assembly on Nov. 8. Some lawmakers, including Lee Yong-ju of the People’s Party (shaking hands with Trump) showed their approval of the speech, with Ji Sang-wook of the Bareun Party (to the right of Lee) telling the president: “Don’t make the Rocket Baby [Kim Jong-un] a big man. [Let’s] just blow him away together.” In contrast, two lawmakers from the New People’s Party, Kim Jong-hoon and Yoon Jong-oh, held up signs reiterating their opposition to the military option that Trump has repeatedly mentioned as a way of dealing with the North Korean nuclear issue.
