People wandering around in traditional hanbok outfits is a common sight near Gyeongbok Palace in Seoul. Several rental shops in the area offer a variety of outfits for both tourists and locals. Donning a hanbok has become a staple activity for anybody visiting the palace or attending events like the Royal Culture Festival, which began on Apr. 28 and runs until May 6. Taking photos of selfies while wearing hanbok clothing is especially popular among Korean students. (Shin So-young, staff photographer)
