On Feb. 26, the skating rink in Seoul Plaza outside of the Seoul City Hall was transformed into a curling rink in order to generate interest in the 2018 Paralympics, which will be held in Pyeongchang from Mar. 9-18. Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon and Australian Ambassador to South Korea James Choi took part in the event, which also featured Seoul Sports Association for the Differently-abled Vice Chairman Park Eun-soo and Seoul City Work Athletic Club member Min Byung-seok. The curling rink will be displayed until Mar. 1, and during this time special skates for the disabled will also be available for rent. (by Shin So-young, staff photographer)
