South Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan won the 1,500-meter freestyle at the FINA World Short Course Swimming Championships in Windsor, Canada, on Dec. 12, with a record time of 14 minutes, 15.51 seconds. It was his third gold medal of the games, having also won the 400m and 200m races. Park also won four gold medals at the Asian Swimming Championships in Tokyo in November.
